What time period, decade or year do you think this photograph was created in? What visual cues support your choice?

I would say that this photo has been taken in between 2000-2010. Reasons for why is because of the Marquees, the way the person is dressed and the power lines that are visible.

Where in the world was this photograph taken? Again, please detail your reasons for asserting your choice.

 I would say this photo is taken around India. Reason for why i think this is because of the golden statue that the person is looking at and also because of the person as well.

In a short paragraph, how would you describe the key visual elements of the photograph? What is contained within the frame?

I see the building in the background straight away. It looks to be an old building of some importance and being well maintained.  I also see two marquees which suggest either a wedding is getting ready to happen or a party is getting set up. Can see that the man in this picture looks to be setting something up in front of the gold statue as there is a pole that has been placed next to him.

How is/are the human subject(s) of the photograph engaging with the camera/photographer?

I don’t believe that the person in this photo is aware of the photographer being there as he looks to be minding his own business and setting something up.

What, if any directions do you think the photographer may have given to the subject(s) of the photograph?

I don’t believe that the photographer has given any directions to the person. If the person is aware of the photographer then maybe the photographer asked the person to continue as if he/she (the photographer) wasn’t there.

What do you believe the photographer wants, you, the viewer to take from the image?

I think the main focus of this picture is of the building in the background as this is what is centralized. Maybe the photographer wanted to show the location and what it is used for.
