My final project is of an Apple being eaten till just left with the core to represent Entropy (order and Chaos).
I enjoy taking photos mainly of landscapes, wildlife and candid photos of people. For this brief I have done the photos of still life instead to represent my chosen word. I have not been influenced by any other photographer as I don’t find this style of photography that interesting.
For my work the way I set it up was with an apple on my floor at home, a lamp angled across the floor and my camera. Each of the images I have taken do not have any edits to them they are as they are straight from the camera. When setting up I took note of how I was placing the light and where the apple would sit in this light. I used depth of field to focus just on the apple. I used my lamp as a key light. I had my camera mode on M and iso set to 100 for each of the pictures. I did not use any flash for my project.
The pictures have been laid out in stages from the apple being whole to after each bite was taken till I was left with just the core. Each stage I left the lighting and camera settings the same as it was with the whole apple.
